Anse du Souffleur Beach (Port Louis, Grand-Terre) – this is one of Guadeloupe’s most beautiful beaches, nestled in the authentic little village of Port-Louis. Anse du Souffleur Beach offers golden sand and azure waters, as well as a vast picnic area complete with public barbecues that is typically less crowded during the week.
Saint-François (Grande-Terre) – this tourist friendly area has over a dozen shops (at Saint-François’ marina). The items sold there range from French lingerie to swimsuits and fashion apparel. There’s also a supermarket whose prices tend to be reasonable.
Bas-du-Fort (Pointe-a-Pitre, Grande-Terre) – this district’s two shopping areas are the Cora Shopping Center and the marina – over 20 shop and some restaurants are located there. Some of them are right on the water.
